With over a decade of experience supporting executives, founders, and leadership teams across the nonprofit, academic, legal, and corporate worlds, Emily La Rosa brings a rare blend of precision and people-first instinct to her role as Agency Manager at Architectural Concepts. Working alongside Dominic Dutra, Director of Agency Management, and Principal James Heilbronner, Emily helps manage the approvals, communication, and coordination that keep client projects moving smoothly through entitlement and permitting. Her background spans executive support, project management, operations, compliance, research, and client relations - proficiencies that serve her well when it comes to managing confidential information, coordinating cross-functional projects, and keeping executive priorities organized and on track.

Emily's connection to design, construction, and the built environment runs deep. She gained hands-on experience in real estate and architecture as a project manager for a real estate development firm, where her work centered on residential developments and historic preservation projects. She also comes from a family of artists, designers, and construction professionals, a background that shaped both her creative instincts and her ability to hold the big picture while still catching the smallest details. For twenty years, Emily worked as a licensed cosmetologist, lending her craft to countless weddings, fashion shows, and photoshoots along the way — experience that sharpened her eye for detail and her comfort working under pressure.

Emily holds her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Eastern Michigan University. After graduating from law school in 2024, she moved to San Diego, where she now lives with her children, both two- and four-legged. Outside the office, Emily can be found at the beach, cooking, running, catching live music, or spending time with friends, family, and her two pit bulls.
